The Supreme Court will on Monday hear petitions challenging Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's alleged unilateral exercise of Election Commission powers without the concurrence of the two other commissioners. The pleas seek his suspension, quashing of 14 disputed decisions, and an independent probe into the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. A bench led by Chief Justice Surya Kant will hear the matter.
