The Federation of Indian Airlines has asked Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu to speed up disbursement of Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme 5.0 funds, citing urgent liquidity needs. While some airlines received partial assistance, lenders' hesitation has delayed the balance. SpiceJet has drawn Rs 150 crore and awaits another Rs 350 crore. The scheme runs until March 2027 or Rs 2.55 lakh crore in guarantees.
