The 57th GST Council meeting, originally set for October 7, has been rescheduled to October 8 due to unavoidable circumstances. The meeting, chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, will be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This is the first meeting in over a year, following the September 2025 restructuring of GST rates.
