Brazil Stocks Surge $100 Billion After Bolsonaro Election Upset

Brazil's stock market added nearly $100 billion in value in 90 minutes after Senator Flavio Bolsonaro led President Lula in the first round of the presidential election. The Ibovespa jumped 9.1% to a record high, while the real strengthened over 4% against the dollar. The two will face a runoff on October 25.
