Mexico Seeks US Evidence of Border Shooting

Mexico has asked the United States for evidence of a cross-border shooting that allegedly targeted US Coast Guard members in Texas, across from Tamaulipas, in late September. President Claudia Sheinbaum said Mexico's forces detected no shots from Mexican territory. About 500 US troops and equipment have deployed to the border under a joint operation called Operation Mirror.
