Turkey and Pakistan will deploy troops to Saudi Arabia under the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement, following emergency talks in Riyadh on Monday over security threats from Yemen. The pact, signed in August, commits the three countries to collective defence. The move aims to counter Houthi attacks on Saudi territory, including areas near Mecca and Medina.
