Supreme Court Warns EC on Unilateral Voter Roll Decisions

The Supreme Court has asked the Election Commission to clarify whether decisions on the special intensive revision of voter rolls were taken unilaterally by the Chief Election Commissioner. The bench warned that any decisions not made unanimously or by majority among the three commissioners will be annulled. Notices were issued to the Centre and EC officials.
