President Murmu Urges AIIMS Bilaspur Doctors to Serve Rural Himachal

President Droupadi Murmu urged the first graduating batch of AIIMS Bilaspur to voluntarily serve remote and rural areas of Himachal Pradesh, where doctors are often reluctant to work. Speaking at the institute's first convocation, she called medicine a noble profession and stressed compassion, technology and telemedicine. AIIMS Bilaspur has treated 12 lakh outpatients and one lakh inpatients in three years.
