Trump rally for Paxton in Texas disrupted by protesters

President Donald Trump campaigned in San Antonio on Wednesday for embattled Senate candidate Ken Paxton, but repeated protests interrupted his remarks at least half a dozen times. Police led some demonstrators away as Trump tried to talk through the disruptions. The rally underscored Republican struggles in Texas, where Trump won by nearly 14 points in 2024 but faces poor approval ratings and rising gas prices.
