Dermatologists Say Sleep, Not Blue Light, Harms Skin Most

Dermatologists say prolonged screen time harms skin mainly through poor sleep, stress and inactivity rather than direct blue light damage. Visible light can worsen pigmentation in some people, but experts stress sunscreen, hydration and rest over expensive serums. They advise broad-spectrum tinted sunscreen with iron oxides, moisturiser in air-conditioned offices, and cleaning phones regularly.
