EPFO Tests UPI-Based Provident Fund Withdrawals

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation has begun testing UPI-based withdrawals from provident fund accounts, with a formal rollout expected by the end of December. The feature will link the UAN portal with subscribers' UPI accounts, allowing direct access to funds without applying through the portal. Existing withdrawal conditions remain unchanged, including the 75 per cent corpus limit.
