RBI Cancels Registration of 13 NBFCs, 11 in West Bengal

The Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the Certificates of Registration of 13 non-banking financial companies, 11 of them based in West Bengal and two in Tamil Nadu, barring them from non-banking financial business. The orders, issued under Section 45-IA(6) of the RBI Act, 1934, were dated across September 2026. Separately, the RBI said 10 NBFCs surrendered their registrations.
