CJP Alleges 'Open Emergency' in Delhi Over Protest Crackdown

The Cockroach Janata Party accused authorities of imposing an 'open Emergency' in Delhi, citing 30,000-40,000 security personnel, 57 metro station closures, and train suspensions to suppress protests demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation. Around 1,000 people, including Arvind Kejriwal and Pinarayi Vijayan, were detained. Police said all detainees were released except CJP leaders, and denied insensitivity over an activist's bereavement.
