Sweden's Social Democratic leader Magdalena Andersson has failed to form a government after a September election, citing disagreements over cabinet composition. The centre-left alliance won 176 seats to 173, but the Left Party demands a cabinet post while the Centre Party refuses to cooperate with any government including the Left. Andersson returned her second exploratory mandate to the speaker on Tuesday.
