Congress accuses Maharashtra government of changing law to control Gokul dairy

Congress leader Satej Patil has accused the Maharashtra government of retrospectively amending cooperative law to seize control of the Rs 4,000-crore Gokul dairy, overturning his panel's board election majority. He called the Cabinet decision a "dark day" and alleged "satta chori," vowing to fight in the High Court. Shiv Sena's Sanjay Nirupam defended the move, saying politics should not interfere in cooperatives.
