Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at its Texas gigafactory around mid-2027, CEO Elon Musk said, to free capacity for higher Cybercab output. The electric pickup sold just 20,237 units in the US last year, down 48% from 2024, far short of Musk's earlier 250,000 annual target. Musk called the move the "end of an era."
