Rahul Gandhi on Saturday accused major oil marketing companies of selling petrol with ethanol above the prescribed 20 per cent limit, citing Karnataka lab tests in which 11 of 14 samples exceeded the cap. He said IOCL samples showed 31.2 per cent ethanol and HPCL 30.5 per cent, and demanded the Centre disclose actual ethanol content and act against violators.
