Sonia Gandhi alleges damage to India's democracy in memoir interview

Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi has alleged that great damage has been done to India's democracy and institutions over the past 12 years, saying restoration will take time even after the current government leaves. In an interview ahead of her memoir 'Belonging: A Journey of Love', published November 10 by HarperCollins India, she said many elections have been stolen and people are growing restless.
