Ayodhya celebrated the 10th edition of Deepotsav on Saturday, with more than 30 lakh earthen lamps illuminating 56 ghats along the Saryu River. Vice President CP Radhakrishnan, Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the festivities, which featured light-and-sound shows and Ramayana performances. The five-day Diwali celebrations culminate with Lakshmi Puja on November 8.
