US Disables Cargo Ship in Gulf of Oman Over Iran Blockade

US forces disabled the St Kitts-flagged cargo vessel M/V Huda in the Gulf of Oman on November 7 after its crew allegedly ignored repeated warnings and tried to breach the naval blockade on Iran. CENTCOM said a US aircraft fired precision munitions at the ship's stern after the crew was told to vacate targeted areas. The vessel had called at an Iranian port before attempting to leave regional waters.
