Nepal and its embassies abroad celebrated Kukur Tihar on Sunday, the second day of the five-day Tihar festival, honouring dogs with marigold garlands, red tika and special treats. In Kathmandu, foreign tourists joined locals and Nepal Police at the Canine Division, where service dogs paraded their skills and a dog named Leo was named Dog of the Year.
