Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Diwali with security personnel in Chhattisgarh's Bastar district, thanking them for their sacrifices against Naxalism and declaring this the first Diwali with every district free of Maoist violence. He credited security forces for enabling development in once-affected areas and said no CRPF jawan died in the line of duty in the past year.
