Kerala CPI(M) slams order to sing full Vande Mataram

Kerala CPI(M) secretary MV Govindan accused the Congress-led UDF government of working for the BJP, following an order mandating the full rendition of Vande Mataram at Independence Day events. Govindan alleged the directive, issued by Chief Secretary Bishwanath Sinha, implements an RSS agenda, citing concerns over the song's later verses. Opposition leader Pinarayi Vijayan also condemned the order.
