Decommissioned wind turbine blades, once buried in landfills, are now being recycled into cement feedstock at a Missouri plant and used in pedestrian bridges. The blades' high silica content makes them suitable for cement production, offering an alternative to disposal as global blade waste is projected to reach 43 million tons by 2050.
