New lizard species named after House of the Dragon's Syrax

Scientists have discovered a new lizard species in Thailand's Mae Wong National Park, naming it Acanthosaura syrax after the dragon from House of the Dragon. The lizard shares traits with the fictional dragon, including yellowish-green color and large egg clutches. Researchers urge stronger protection for its high-elevation forest habitat.
