Godrej Consumer's MD and CEO Sudhir Sitapati resigned effective August 11, with no reason given. CFO Aasif Malbari will take over as MD and CEO from August 12 for five years, subject to shareholder approval. Malbari, a veteran with stints at Tata Motors and HUL, has resigned as CFO.
