Delhi's share of India's GDP declined to 3.82% in FY24 from 4.12% in FY18, according to a CAG report and Moneycontrol analysis. In contrast, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai increased their shares. The decline is attributed to high rentals and pollution standards pushing economic activity to NCR cities like Noida and Ghaziabad.
