The pilot-in-command of Air India flight AI2379 from Phuket to Delhi has tested positive for marijuana in a confirmatory test, following a mid-air turbulence incident on August 4 that injured passengers and crew. The aircraft lost about 300 feet in altitude, and both pilots have been taken off duty pending investigation.
