Trump administration arrests SPLC expert for fraud

Heidi Beirich, former intelligence director for the Southern Poverty Law Center, was arrested on charges of wire fraud, conspiracy, and money laundering. The Justice Department alleges she helped misdirect over $4 million in donor funds to individuals linked to extremist groups. Beirich's lawyer calls the case politically motivated.
