Flock Safety CEO Garrett Langley acknowledged the company took too long to address police misuse of its license plate-reading cameras, which were used to track romantic partners and stalk strangers. The firm is now cutting data retention from 30 to 7 days and making audit features standard. At least 50 cities have cut ties with Flock this year.
