Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal was attacked with a dagger at a gurudwara in Maharashtra's Nanded district on Thursday, sustaining a minor arm injury. A police officer accompanying him was also hurt. The attacker, identified as Jaspal Singh, was arrested, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders condemned the assault.
