Tata Sons' principal shareholder, Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, has initiated the process to find a successor to Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran, who announced he will not seek an extension after his term ends in February 2027. The trust, led by Noel Tata, thanked Chandra for his contributions. Potential internal candidates include chiefs of Tata Steel, Tata Motors, and Tata Consumer Products.
