BCI reverses order blocking NALSAR graduates' bar enrolment

The Bar Council of India withdrew its directive barring 2026 NALSAR University of Law graduates from enrolling with State Bar Councils, hours after issuing it amid a row over student protests against Chief Justice Surya Kant's convocation invite. The BCI said the vast majority of students were innocent and can now enrol with any council of their choice, while an inquiry continues.
