Sai Sri Valli Mogilineedi, an eighth-grader at Mountain View Middle School in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, has been named a national finalist in the 2026 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge for designing a controlled-release system for GERD antacid drugs. She is among 30 finalists chosen from 1,997 applicants and will compete in Washington, DC, from 23 to 28 October.
