Calvin Harris has been recognised by Guinness World Records for the largest attendance for a DJ set by a single artist, after performing to an estimated 1.6 million people in Sao Paulo on 8 February 2026. The Dumfries DJ said it was a "truly insane day" that could only have happened in Brazil. Guinness noted the event closed Rua da Consolação and saw fans faint in the heat.
