Pakistan strikes kill three in Afghanistan, Taliban vows response

Pakistan allegedly struck civilian homes in Afghanistan's Kunar and Paktika provinces early Monday, killing three members of one family and wounding four, Taliban officials said. The strikes follow a Friday attack on a Pakistani police headquarters that killed at least 31 people. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid condemned the "aggression" and promised an appropriate response.
