Indian Seafarer Killed in Attack on Vessel off Oman

An Indian national was killed when the commercial vessel MV Cape Dao was attacked off Oman's east coast while en route to India. Of the 20 Indian seafarers on board, 19 were rescued. India condemned the attack, called for an end to targeting of commercial shipping, and said its embassy in Oman is coordinating with local authorities for the crew's early repatriation.
