Employees' body urges early DA, DR announcement for July 2026

The Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers has asked the Finance Ministry to expedite the next Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief instalment due from July 1, 2026. Current DA stands at 60 per cent since January 2026, with AICPI-IW data estimating the revised rate near 64 per cent. Formal Cabinet approval and announcement remain pending.
