NSE chief says FPI outflows cyclical, may return as AI boom fades

Foreign portfolio investors are pulling money from Indian equities as the AI-led rally in the US, South Korea and Taiwan draws capital, NSE MD and CEO Ashish Chauhan said, expecting funds to return once the cycle ends. FPIs withdrew Rs 23,676 crore through September 19 after buying in July and August.
