China pushes back at US over Iran and Cuba at UN

China's Vice President Han Zheng told the UN General Assembly that the sovereignty of Gulf countries should be respected and urged the "relevant country" to lift its blockade on Cuba and stop threatening it. Han did not name the United States, whose pressure campaign has largely blocked oil from reaching Cuba. The remarks followed a Trump-Xi summit earlier this week.
