India to Build Green Methanol Plant at Kandla Port

India will build a 150-tonne-per-day e-methanol plant at Kandla, a joint venture of Deendayal Port Authority and Assam Petro-Chemicals Ltd. The Rs 2,300 crore project will supply green fuel to ships on the Asia-Europe trade corridor, creating over 3,500 jobs and advancing India's net-zero by 2070 goal.
