SpaceX launched its 14th Starship flight from Starbase, Texas, on September 28, 2026, aiming for the first orbital mission and deployment of 26 Starlink V3 satellites. The Super Heavy booster is expected to land in the Gulf of Mexico, not be caught. SpaceX, now valued at about $2 trillion after its June IPO, says Starship will eventually carry crew and cargo to the Moon and Mars.
