Congress Calls October 5 Meeting on Election Commission Row

Congress has summoned AICC in-charges and PCC chiefs to Delhi on October 5 to plan its agitation against the Election Commission. The Opposition demands action against CEC Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the electoral-roll revision, while the poll body denies wrongdoing. INDIA bloc parties will hold a nationwide "Save Democracy March" from October 2 to 8.
