Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke on Thursday demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and warned of nationwide protests if he does not step down. Dipke said protests will be held in Goa, Karnataka, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand, followed by a stir at Delhi's Jantar Mantar from October end. A protest is planned at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on October 2.
