UAE Adviser Calls Flydubai Incident 'Terrorist Act', Praises Indian Pilot

UAE presidential adviser Anwar Gargash has called the mid-flight attack on a Flydubai flight a 'dangerous terrorist act', praising Indian Captain Smit Machchhar for preventing a potential disaster. The September 30 incident involved an Omani co-pilot attacking Machchhar on the Dubai-Tel Aviv flight, but the captain's actions helped ensure a safe landing and saved 180 lives. Gargash urged vigilance against extremism as investigations continue.
