Navy Sailor Arrested for Leaking Data to Pakistani Operative

Indian Navy sailor Pradeep Mukherjee, 31, was arrested on October 3 at INS Agrani in Coimbatore for allegedly sharing classified maritime intelligence with a female Pakistani operative via a social media honey-trap. Posted with the Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam, he reportedly leaked details on naval assets and fleet movements. The Andhra Pradesh Police Counter Intelligence cell is investigating.
