Slain LeT commander used honey to treat bullet wounds

Mohd Asif, alias Hashim Moosa, the LeT chief operational commander and a mastermind of the 2025 Pahalgam attack, treated bullet wounds with pure honey while hiding in Jammu and Kashmir forests, officials said. He was killed in a high-altitude Army operation in Yousmarg, Budgam district, after a 45-day manhunt. Medical experts said the tactic reflects Ayurvedic wound-care principles.
