Bangladesh on Sunday pressed India to expedite the extradition of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, saying political intent is needed alongside legal process. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam said Hasina can be brought back under the existing treaty. India's High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi said no timeframe can be given as the request is under legal review.
