The co-pilot of a flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv planned to crash the plane into Ben Gurion airport or a Tel Aviv tower block, according to US and Israeli reports. He attacked the captain with an axe before being overpowered by passengers and crew. The Omani national, named in reports as Hamam al-Hammami, is in UAE custody.
