Pentagon Approves Firing Squad Execution for Fort Hood Shooter

The Pentagon will execute Nidal Malik Hasan, a former US Army major who killed 13 soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009, by firing squad. President Trump approved the recommendation, marking the first military execution since 1961 and the first firing squad execution since World War Two. Hasan was convicted of 13 murders and 32 attempted murders.
